Background: Virtual Reconstruction of Monastery Church Cluny, Phase Cluny III. Biggest Construction of Christianity until the Construction of Saint Peter in Rome, largest monastery ever built in the Occident, founded 910. Construction period: 25.10.1088-1135, Ordination 25.10.1130 through Pope Innocence II. Beginning of liturgical renaissance of Monasticism under Abbot Odo (927-942) (so-called Cluniacensic Reform), moving force of Crusade idea and of the Spanish Reconquista. Since 931 leading 1500 attached Abbeys and Monasteries. Dimensions: Lengt: 187 m, vault height 30 m, today 9/10 destroyed.
